Dear straight men,
Eye address you specifically because to be frank eye have yet to experience the behavior eye am about to mention from any other group. With that said, eye’ve contemplated creating something such as this post for a while.
For every time eye’ve felt uncomfortable reading responses to my story on my IG because one of you decided it was alright to speak on my body simply because you are privileged enough to experience it via my social media (comments and followers like you influenced me to make my profile private). For every time eye walk past you and you think it is alright to continue staring at my breasts/butt/whatever after eye’ve caught you without regarding my emotions or that eye even have any. Worse, for those of you that genuinely subscribe to the idea that what eye choose to wear and/or do is a sign of whether eye “want to be objectified” (to some of you we can also add “assaulted and/or raped”) or not. Here’s a PSA:
What eye do is FOR ME, not for you.
What eye wear is FOR ME, not for you.
Neither gives you the right to infringe on my personal space (that includes my social profiles) with your words, male gaze, actions, and whatever else you think is okay because you have an internalized (and externalized) misogynistic ideal that women are here for you and only you.
From now on eye no longer care what you think or want (only mirroring your sentiments of me) and if you decide to come at me via my TikTok, IG, real life be prepared to be met with a shield of indifference. If you are ignorant enough to push further (i.e. not keep your intrusive and unwanted opinions to yourself) don’t be surprised when you’re met with hostile words and defensive action; which may or may not include my posting your comments, messages, etc to my story and/or profile WITH YOUR NAME ATTACHED.
Eye am done with this treatment and this is my declaration. Stay in your lane. Get off your pedestal and don’t try with me because when it comes to this you can consider me a provoked mother bear and my cub is my right to live MY LIFE free of your opinions.

For the heterosexual men whom display the opposite behavior, whom support me and my right to my own life and body as well as my own sacred spaces eye am deeply grateful for you and eye thank you for fighting for my sisters and eye. The divine masculine lives in you and it’s my hope you inspire your lost brothers to awaken theirs.
