Old Patterns

By Mac Guerreiro

They grasp at me with all they have,

They know my will has sharpened,

They call in many voices,

They’re trying everything,

Eye find myself almost indulging in the shame of “what if”

Abusive,

Isn’t it?

Then eye remind us that we don’t have to go that route,

We can make better choices for the sake of the now,

Perhaps being ashamed of what if’s was the real drug,

Maybe,

Maybe not,

But eye see an opening,

And it’s mine for the taking,

Come at me,

Eye know how to handle you,

It’s time to thank the old and welcome the new.

Born in Brazil and raised in California eye am an artist better identified as a conscious creator and intuitive healer. My gift for storytelling in various forms as well as my keen perception into the metaphysical allows me to share my perspective in ways that eye hope are of help and use to those around me. Thank you for reading, listening and watching; it means the world to me.
