While on a plane recently eye had the pleasure of watching the movie “Hustlers.” Don’t you love the amount of awesome new releases one can find for free on airplanes these days? Eye do, especially as one of those that always vows to rent the movies once they leave the theaters yet hardly ever does. Anyway, this isn’t an ad for airplane entertainment, rather it is a reflection of something eye realized while watching the movie.
J-Lo’s character has a line that goes “doesn’t money make you horny?” This struck me, because eye know people that feel this way. They LOVE money, like LOVE LOVE money and coincidentally enough money seems to love them back. Coincidentally? Really? Of course not because when we have a pure desire for something the universe works to pull it towards us. The key being “pure desire.”
My feelings toward money is something eye’ve been working through in the subterraneous regions of my consciousness. Purity has yet to be achieved but many layers have been peeled away. The “rich people are awful” layer has nearly dissolved as has the “money is evil” layer but Eye’m not quite to the “horny for money” layer. Not yet… yet.
Point of this story? Money is like anything else in this world… energy. Except it’s an energy that everyone has their eye on. Due to its hyper-flexible exchangeability it’s valued above most things which inherently causes major resistance in those that have never had money come easy. So how do we start to attract instead of repel it? We start to care about it, desire it, value it properly… show money that it can be trusted with us. Eye’m starting to see money as this nurturing thing that eye vow to take care of so that in turn, it takes care of me.
