There are stranger things than not seeing you here,

Certainly in this neighborhood,

There are stranger things,

Stranger things than seeing your photo where extra roses sit,

Along side it a box,

“Donations appreciated”

What is life?

Many things yes,

Fragile,

Complex,

A beautiful mess?

All of the above and so much more,

There are stranger things than not seeing you here,

But this is strange in ways eye never considered before.
