In a world where things have been out of alignment for so long, especially where the masculine and feminine energies are concerned, it’s easy to try to push the pendulum to the opposite end. Meaning, after being depreciated and controlled by a fearful masculine it’s no wonder the feminine is rising up to the occasion; but to what occasion?
Eye used to think that eye didn’t need men because anything that they could do eye could do also. That’s what my out of alignment feminists were telling me, and eye was buying that shit like it was vegan Del Taco. Eye was buying into it HARD, because believing that was much easier than admitting that in order to thrive eye needed to honor what eye couldn’t bring to the table all on my own. Not only did eye need to honor that, but eye also needed to allow those who could bring those things to do just that. In this case, eye am referring to men. Yes, eye have come to understand how a masculine in alignment is the feminine’s greatest ally.
How does this all tie together though? Well, it occurred to me recently that calling masculinity “toxic” is not helping our fellow masculines at all, because in truth, things only become toxic when they are thrown out of alignment. A long time ago the masculine let his fear of what the feminine could bring influence how he treated her. This created chaos and a construct in which the feminine had to manipulate her fellow masculine and compete with her sisters in order to survive. Now, in an age in which the feminine wants to thrive, it’s time to align ourselves with what this really means. This means embracing our feminine as well as our masculine and allowing for a space where both can find a sense of alignment together rather than in spite of each other.
Eye choose to remove the term “toxic masculinity” and replace it with “out of alignment masculinity.” This way eye am reminded that in order to create a thriving balance between the yin and the yang eye must come into alignment with my feminine and watch her inspire the masculine to fall in line just as she is made to do.
